This example demonstrates an outdoor monitoring system with both a Raspberry Pi 4 and Raspberry Pi Camera Module V2 installed inside a Cube Case 150.
Power and communication connections are routed through the connector panel, allowing the system to maintain its waterproof integrity while providing external connectivity.
Thanks to the Cube Case’s modular design, the panel positions can be rearranged as needed. For example, the dome panel can be mounted on the side, top, or other faces of the enclosure to suit the installation requirements.

Raspberry Pi + Raspberry Pi Camera

This outdoor monitoring system integrates both a Raspberry Pi and VR220 camera within a single Cube Case 125 enclosure.
Thanks to its simple and compact configuration, the Cube Case 125 provides an ideal balance of size, protection, and ease of installation. The system can be securely mounted using a magnetic plate and magic arm, making it suitable for temporary installations, inspections, and outdoor monitoring applications.

This configuration integrates a The Imaging Source industrial camera and a Raspberry Pi 4 inside a Cube Case 125.
Because the system uses a C-mount lens with a relatively long optical length, a 52 mm high dome panel is used to provide sufficient clearance.
The camera is mounted using a custom-designed mounting plate, ensuring secure installation and reliable operation in outdoor environments while maintaining the enclosure’s waterproof protection.

This configuration weatherproofs a The Imaging Source industrial camera by installing it inside a Cube Case 100.
A custom mounting plate is used to securely install the camera within the enclosure. The camera is equipped with an Entaniya Fisheye M12 220 lens, enabling ultra-wide-angle image capture while maintaining IP68-rated protection.
Image data and power are routed through a flat cable and connected to the outside via a waterproof panel-mount connector, ensuring reliable operation while preserving the enclosure’s waterproof integrity.

This configuration houses an SMTSEC industrial IP camera inside a Cube Case 100 to provide weatherproof protection for outdoor operation.
Because the camera generates a relatively high amount of heat, thermal management has been enhanced by installing a general-purpose internal cooling fan and two heat sink panels to improve heat dissipation.
To minimize the effects of flare and stray light, the camera is equipped with a Lens Hood Panel, helping to maintain image quality in challenging lighting conditions.
This combination provides a reliable solution for outdoor monitoring applications requiring both environmental protection and effective thermal management.。
