Stereo Camera Plate for Raspberry Pi
This plate allows two Raspberry Pi cameras to be placed side by side to make a stereo camera.
It is easy to set up cameras for stereo shooting using Raspberry Pi cameras.
Supports cable extension modules
Stereo camera plates can also be installed with cable extension modules in use.
To extend the cable with Ethernet or HDMI, a CSI to Ethernet or HDMI conversion module must be used, and these modules can be integrated together in the plate.
For example, to connect two cameras to a Raspberry Pi 5 as shown in the photo above, you can use a CSI-HDMI converter module to connect the cameras with a 1.5m HDMI cable.
Alternatively, the THine Cable Extension Kit THSER102A can be used to extend the cable up to 10 meters via Ethernet.
Distance adjustment mechanism between cameras
The camera base is a sliding type that allows the distance between the two cameras to be adjusted.
This allows for shooting according to the distance of the subject and the intended use.
