This product is an HDMI cable integrated with an IP68-rated waterproof cable gland.
It enables safe and reliable HDMI signal transmission from cameras or electronic devices inside an enclosure, even in underwater or extremely high-humidity environments.
IP68 waterproof rating
Typically, when using a waterproof enclosure to house a camera and connect it externally via HDMI, a waterproof connector is used.
However, most waterproof connectors are limited to an IP67 rating, which restricts their use in fully submerged environments.
To solve this issue, we developed an HDMI cable with an integrated IP68-rated cable gland.
By incorporating the waterproof gland directly into the cable, HDMI connections can be routed outside the enclosure without compromising its waterproof integrity.
