When routing a cable from a waterproof enclosure or pull box, a standard cable gland typically requires the cable to be cut and re-terminated, as the connector cannot pass through the gland opening.
However, this product is supplied with the cable gland pre-installed, allowing for immediate installation without any cable modification.
This greatly reduces installation effort and risk, while maintaining full waterproof integrity.
IP68 waterproof performance
Generally, waterproof connector–type cables are rated up to IP67, which allows for temporary submersion but is not suitable for prolonged underwater use.
In contrast, this product features a cable gland–based structure that achieves an IP68 waterproof rating.
This enables reliable and safe operation even in fully submerged or extremely humid environments, ensuring higher protection and long-term durability.
Easily fits in tight spaces – equipped with ultra-short RJ45 connector
This product uses an ultra-short RJ45 connector measuring only approximately 12.8 mm in length for internal connections within enclosures.
Compared to standard RJ45 connectors, it is less than half the length, making it ideal for space-constrained environments where efficient cable routing is essential.
Cable processing on a dedicated processing machine
The cable used in this product is precisely processed using specialized machinery and dedicated tools.
This ensures high dimensional accuracy and consistent quality, even for fine adjustments and tolerances that are difficult to achieve with manual processing.
Cable Specifications
This product is a customized version based on the Sanwa Supply LAN cable “KB-SL5STPS,” specially processed using dedicated equipment.
It features a highly flexible cable, making it easy to install even in tight spaces or complex routing environments.
The cable’s core specifications—including category, conductor structure, and shielding—comply with those of Sanwa Supply’s KB-SL5STPS.
